How Do You Do the Drapes Where They Hang?

Ace Chemdry has a portable dry cleaning machine that we can bring into your home, and do the drapery dry cleaning where the drapes hang — saving you the hassle and stress of pulling them down and removing all the hooks. Using our specialised equipment, the results are excellent.

What steps are involved?

• Ace Chemdry will assess the drapes for any possible damage.
• The drapes are then vacuumed if required — this gets most of the visible dust off.
• The drapes are then cleaned with dry cleaning fluids designed by Harris Research (Chemdry US) "
• The drapes are then cleaned with dry cleaning fluids designed by Harris Research (Chemdry US) specifically for drapes.
• The drapes are left open for 5–10 minutes to make sure they are all dry, then you may pull them back as they normally are, without fear of them not drying.

There is a slight aroma from the dry cleaning fluid. This is usually gone within 1–2 days and is normal with dry cleaning.
